This place has cosy and extremely spacious units with balconies, and its location is fantastic, close to the best and good restaurants nearby, making it a great choice to stay.

Really enjoyed the place, it was stunningly beautiful and worked for me. The room was brand-new and the amenities included a safe box, a coffee/tea maker, and a work desk. Bed was incredible. The staff was brilliantly helpful at all levels. The location offered was exceptionally nice really close to the beach. Café Pret a Manger was located 5 minutes walk away. My stay was very good here.

The food was brilliant and there were a great selection of dishes in the menu...

Quiet little hotel located not far from the airport. Neat and perfect room with better standard than normal hotels in Sri Lanka. the balcony was as advertised.

We had a great stay at Hotel 198! The location is fantastic, just steps away from the beach. The room was clean and spacious, with luxurious decor that made us feel at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had a restful sleep every night. The hotel also offers a delicious breakfast with a variety of options. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with any issues we had. we highly recommend Hotel 198 for its value, comfort, and convenient location.

Located in a convenient area, the hotel provides easy access to nearby restaurants and shops, with a short walk to the beach. the rooms offer French style comfort along with essential facilities. the helpful staff and delicious breakfast add up to a great stay.

Some rooms may have poor sound insulation and may experience noise from adjacent restaurants or a nearby entertainment venue.

The hotel is situated conveniently close to the beach with a range of good restaurants in the surrounding area. the staff was generally friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. the pleasant common hall was an added bonus where we could relax and catch up with other guests.

the sound insulation was poor, and we could hear noises from the restaurant on the second floor until late at night, making it difficult to sleep.

The room was well-maintained and offered basic amenities. The hotel’s location was perfect, close to the beach, local restaurants, and other tourist attractions. The staff was welcoming and provided helpful service throughout our stay.

The room did not have soundproofing which made it noisy, disturbing our sleep during the night. The hotel's lack of safe parking was a concern, as we had to leave our vehicle by the side of the road.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and stylishly decorated, with all the amenities I needed including a comfortable bed, efficient A/C, and TV with American channels. The breakfast served on the roof was huge and delicious, with both Western and Sri Lankan options. The hotel staff were also extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
